Not much time to stamp this month . Getting ready for an awesome vacation to the Adriatic and Dalmatian coast .

Did have time though for the challenge 27 using monochromatic color blue .

Clarity Challenge #43 - In the Garden

Where has the month gone ? 

Very busy here in Virginia what with baseball games for the two cherub grandchildren and books to read and classes to attend . 

Today is a gorgeous day , sunshinning , low humidity and cooler temperatures .

Challenge 26, Week Three at Chocolate Baroque

It's  another fun challenge at Chocolate Baroque and it's looking abit like September with some lovely autumn colors .

Clarity challenge 42 --- Fussy Cut

Happy Sunday dear friends 

We are almost to the end of August and almost to the deadline for the clarity Stamp challenge 

   I fussy cut my Clarity butterfly and created a background of color using my color burst by Ken Oliver

And then since it all looked so very hopeful I used the clarity word --- Hope . I think that says it all ,for me anyway and I hope for you also . See you all in the Month of September and keep on the joy ful journey . Janice 

I do wish I had a better. Camera , because the color is so much better in person . Any suggestions would be appreciated .

I created a special 50th anniversary card for the dearest of friends and thought this went well 

With this months theme of mixed media use of metal . 

A simple card that I have embossed in gold ,using stamps by Clarity stamps .i love the word Joy and I know that their past 50 years have had many moments of joy . 

Chocolate Baroque --- Challenge 25 --- theme is chocolate

Oh happy days days on the journey especially with this months challenge at Chocolate Baroque and the theme of chocolate .

                   I Love Chocolate 

  So we had to use chocolate colors and my mind went to all the wonderful possibilities of chocolate 

Ice cream . I stayed with chocolate colors and some chips and maybe nuts thrown in for good measure ., yummy . Enjoy ! Oh yes the stamp I used is from inspirational phrases .

Clarity challenge 41----- Days Out

Hello everyone , It's challenge 41 at clarity stamps and the theme is " Days Out " 

Well,one of my favorite activities and adventure  and journeys is days of travel .

Sooo I'm up up and away for a glorious day above the terrain enjoying all the beauty of creation .

I just discovered alcohol inks and I'm having so much fun. 

This stuff is addictive --- I think there is a pun somewhere here --- alcohol, addictive ???? .

Clarity card challenge. 40 theme is Masculine

   Hello everyone ,

It's been a very busy week as we attended  our sons graduation from McGill university with a masters in Physiotheraphy . We are very happy and proud . We also had a fantastic time visiting Ottawa , Ganaoque , the thousand islands , and then Quebec City . And oh yes in Montreal we saw Cirque de Soleil . 

               This is my recent card for my husbands birthday and I'm very pleased with it . He is a 

                Mechanical Engineer and I think this stencil is perfect .

Hello everyone , 

Well it looks like I'm right on schedule almost one month to my last blog 

Tomorrow is our daughter and son in laws 15 th wedding anniversary and so my motivation has 

Been to create a card for them and for the clarity challenge of Anything Goes .

This elephant stamp is just perfect and of course I had to use my favorite color -- purple .

This is perhaps the most creative for me because I used a new technique ( for me) the shaving foam texhnique . I had lots of fun with this one and have some nice backgrounds as a result .

So here I am on my stamping journey and honestly it's my life journey too 

  

The challenge is anything goes using all clarity stamps . 

. Enjoy this beautiful spring weather and remember that the sun is always shining , so times you can't see it because of the clouds , but it is still there . Love and joy.  Janice .

             It's a gorgeous day here in Virginia Beach, Virginia and before the month ends I want to enter my card in the current Clarity Challenge --- " it's all about masking" 

             I made this card for my daughters 42 birthday . I love the this ballerina , her name says so very much to me and my daughter is a beautiful dancer .

It's a beautiful sunny Holy Thursday here in Virginia beach 

I have been creating a special card with the theme " it's all about the girls " and so my bunnies are girls 

Also wanted to include a symbolic Easter message here and so here goes----- my wee bunny girls marvel about Easter ---- let us all remember and rejoice !

Oh it has been a grand two weeks of a truly magnificent ,magical trip to Antartica .

I created a 50th  wedding anniversary  card for dear friends and I was so happy wth the results as were they. 

It says it all with my favorite word and stamp jOY and the two wee hearts .
